For our Client, we are seeking a talented and driven Lead ServiceNow Developer to contribute to the implementation of platform solutions centered around Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and associated functionalities.
In this role, you will play a key part in the design, configuration, and integration of CMDB, aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and enhanced by Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations with cloud and on-premises systems.
This technical position demands substantial expertise in CI lifecycle automation, Discovery patterns, service modeling, and data ingestion from diverse infrastructure sources.
Responsibilities
- Design a scalable, service-aware CMDB adhering to CSDM standards
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to achieve accurate CI data and relationships
- Develop class models, transform maps, reconciliation rules, and lifecycle processes for CI automation
- Plan and support integrations with cloud platforms including AWS and Azure, as well as on-prem systems like SCCM, Active Directory, and vCenter
- Ensure CMDB data quality using CMDB Health frameworks, normalization rules, and duplicate detection tools
- Diagnose issues related to Discovery jobs, data inconsistencies, and integration errors
- Provide structured documentation for CMDB designs, Discovery configurations, and integration setups
- Leverage scripting and Flow Designer to streamline workflows while keeping up-to-date with platform enhancements
Requirements
- Background in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CI class structures
- Understanding of integrations with cloud systems (AWS, Azure) and on-prem systems (SCCM, Active Directory, virtualization technologies)
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Server installation and maintenance
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud environments
- Competency in addressing technical challenges within complex IT systems
- Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across dispersed teams
- ServiceNow certifications such as CMDB, Discovery, or App Developer are advantageous

- Proficiency in managing complex CMDB hierarchies with large-scale data
- Background in advanced scripting techniques for ServiceNow automation
- Familiarity with best practices for CI lifecycles and asset tracking
