We are searching for a skilled and motivated Lead ServiceNow Developer to implement platform solutions focused on the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related functionalities.
This position will be key in designing, configuring, and integrating the CMDB in alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), incorporating Discovery, Service Mapping, and both cloud-based and on-premises system integrations.
This role requires significant experience in CI lifecycle automation, Discovery patterns, service modeling, and data ingestion from a variety of infrastructure sources.
Responsibilities
- Design a scalable and service-aware CMDB that aligns with CSDM standards
- Configure ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping to maintain accurate CI data and relationships
- Define class models, transform maps, reconciliation rules, and processes for CI lifecycle automation
- Support integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, as well as on-premises systems like SCCM, Active Directory, and vCenter
- Maintain CMDB data quality using CMDB Health frameworks, normalization rules, and duplicate detection tools
- Identify and resolve issues related to Discovery jobs, data inconsistencies, and integration failures
- Create structured documentation for CMDB designs, Discovery configurations, and integration implementations
- Apply scripting and Flow Designer to automate workflows and adopt new platform features effectively
Requirements
- Background in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
- Familiarity with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and CI class structures
- Understanding of integrations with cloud services like AWS and Azure, as well as on-premises systems such as SCCM, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and MID Server setup and maintenance
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments
- Competency in troubleshooting and addressing technical challenges in complex IT systems
- Effective English communication skills to facilitate collaboration with distributed teams
- ServiceNow certifications, such as CMDB, Discovery, or App Developer, are considered valuable

- Expertise in managing extensive CMDB hierarchies with large-scale datasets
- Skills in leveraging advanced scripting techniques to enable ServiceNow automation
- Understanding of best practices for CI lifecycle management and asset tracking
