This critical role involves knowledge absorption, hands-on contributions, and team leadership within the SAP CAP domain, ensuring seamless functionality and development.
Responsibilities
- Act as a primary resource for knowledge transfer on SAP CAP business processes, configurations, and custom code
- Lead and participate in phases of knowledge absorption, shadowing, and reverse shadowing
- Validate knowledge through hands-on exercises in testing environments
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and support cross-team collaboration
- Review and update technical documentation, including SOPs and runbooks
- Resolve escalated issues and complex incidents related to SAP CAP functionality
- Support financial and accounting processes with integration into the SAP ecosystem
- Build and oversee a highly capable, independent support team
- Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to best practices for development and support
- Guide the team to achieve formal client sign-off for the SAP CAP stream
- Collaborate with other leads on key integration points across systems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP) and Node.js
- Background in SAP BTP, business process modeling, and API integration
- Expertise in development frameworks such as CDS and Fiori
- Knowledge of financial processes like Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Treasury Management within an SAP environment
- Competency in troubleshooting SAP CAP solutions and resolving complex technical issues
- Familiarity with development methodologies and process optimization in large-scale enterprise projects
- Capability to work collaboratively with Logistics stream leads and other key stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate knowledge transfer and cross-functional teamwork
