We are looking for a remote Lead SAP Developer to join our team and lead software implementations, updates, and upgrades with internal stakeholders.
As a member of our cross-functional product team, you will integrate new systems into the corporate applications landscape and ensure proper data provisioning in accordance with best practices and standards. You will evaluate the compliance of software with our business requirements and identify improvement opportunities, taking responsibility for technical rollout and maintenance and ensuring smooth system operations with a user-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities
- Direct and orchestrate the execution of software implementations, updates, and upgrades in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Incorporate novel systems into the corporate applications environment, guaranteeing accurate data provisioning while adhering to established best practices and standards
- Assess the alignment of software solutions with our business needs and pinpoint opportunities for enhancement
- Assume responsibility for the technical deployment and ongoing maintenance
- Ensure the seamless operation of systems with a user-centric approach within a cross-functional product team, while overseeing 2nd level support requests and adhering to defined incident management procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with OpenText VIM Solution version 21.2 or above, and 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Experience working with Intelligent Capture for SAP version 21.2 or above
- Hands-on experience in the integration areas of the SAP modules FI and MM with OpenText VIM
- Several years of experience in IT Consultancy or Application Management and Integration as responsible for enterprise solutions and have a very good general IT understanding
- Great sense of ownership, communication, and project management capabilities, being able to lead discussions with business users and externals
- Team player (easy & respectful communications, shares responsibilities for the team's overall success)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages and platforms: ABAP or ABAP OO, Python, PowerShell
- Hands-on experience with test automation processes
- B2+ level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Practical knowledge working with SAP S/4HANA and other common solutions in financial areas (e.g. Coupa, SAP Concur, DATEV, SAP Fieldglass)
- Practical knowledge of the other solutions of OpenText ecosystem such as Document Pipeline, Extended ECM)
- Certification in SAP or related fields
