Lead SAP Consultant (Vendor Invoice Management)

We are seeking a Lead SAP Consultant (Vendor Invoice Management) to play a pivotal role in a strategic global initiative aimed at transitioning and modernizing the SAP landscape.

You will serve as the primary knowledge resource for the SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) stream. In this high-profile position, you will engage in comprehensive knowledge transfer activities and later focus on supporting, improving, and innovating SAP VIM processes to meet evolving business objectives. Responsibilities
  • Participate actively in intensive knowledge transfer sessions on business processes, configurations, and custom code for SAP VIM
  • Perform hands-on exercises in lower environments to validate and deepen understanding
  • Review and revise support documentation including standard operating procedures and runbooks
  • Manage escalations and resolve complex incidents within the SAP VIM stream
  • Provide shadowing and reverse shadowing support during the transition phase
  • Ensure a smooth, zero-downtime transition of SAP VIM from the incumbent team
  • Support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of SAP VIM processes aligned with business goals
  • Innovate SAP VIM operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and implement solutions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP VIM updates and industry best practices
  • Communicate progress and challenges effectively to stakeholders
  • Train and mentor junior team members as necessary
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM)
  • Proven leadership skills in managing SAP transition projects
  • Background in supporting and improving SAP logistics and supply chain management processes
  • Expertise in business process configurations and custom code analysis within SAP VIM
  • Strong problem-solving ability for handling complex incident resolutions
  • Excellent documentation skills for creating and updating SOPs and runbooks
  • Fluent English language proficiency, both written and spoken
