We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lead SAP BW/HANA Developer who is passionate about harnessing data for operational and strategic excellence.
This role focuses on designing and maintaining robust data models, workflows, and reporting solutions to address the complex needs of manufacturing, engineering, and business domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of advanced data models and reporting solutions in SAP BW and HANA environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Optimize performance in data loading, extraction, and reporting processes across BW and HANA platforms
- Define and implement standards for data architecture, modeling, and governance
- Drive integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, ensuring seamless data flow
- Support end-to-end system testing and troubleshoot technical issues
- Oversee deployment and ensure system stability post go-live
- Offer leadership and mentorship to junior developers in the team
- Advise stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends in SAP BW/HANA technologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in SAP BW, HANA, and related technologies
- Strong understanding of HANA modeling, BW queries, and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Experience with ETL tools and SAP BODS or SDI
- Skills in database management including SQL, and performance tuning techniques
- Background in integration technologies like API, OData, and Webservice
- Familiarity with data governance, security protocols, and compliance requirements
- Sound capability to identify and resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to use SAP reporting tools like BEx Analyzer, Lumira Designer, or Analysis for Office
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Expertise in SAP Fiori or UI5 for frontend integration
- Showcase of design thinking and innovation in data-driven solutions
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies for SAAS development
- Experience working in large manufacturing or engineering enterprises
