We are seeking a Lead SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote workforce.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our company's S/4HANA systems. You will lead a team of developers to ensure that our systems are optimized and functioning at peak performance. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of our S/4HANA systems, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements
- Lead the design and development of new features and enhancements to existing systems
- Provide technical guidance and support to the development team
- Ensure that all development work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design and development specifications
- Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP development trends and technologies
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and senior management
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that all development work is thoroughly tested and meets the required quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with a strong focus on Core ABAP development
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of developers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Experience with ABAP RESTful Programming Model (ABAP RAP) to develop OData services
- Strong experience with SAP Fiori development and FIORI extensibility
- Familiarity with CDS views and their integration with UI5 applications
- Ability to adapt to Agile development methodologies and thrive in a collaborative, iterative development process
- Highly proficient in English (B2+ level) to ensure clear and effective communication with teams and stakeholders
