We are looking for a Lead Python Engineer to drive Python-based ETL design and delivery on AWS while keeping pipelines reliable and scalable. You will partner with cross-functional teams to shape solution architecture, ensure efficient data integration and transformation, and uphold quality and maintainability standards; apply now.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and support ETL processes end to end
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to keep data integration and transformation efficient, reliable and scalable
  • Define solution design and architecture independently
  • Own assigned work items and take accountability for outcomes
  • Engage directly with the business to capture requirements with minimized meetings
  • Write referenceable, modular code that is easy to reuse
  • Monitor data continuously to assure quality and surface issues before they create business impact
  • Decide when automation is appropriate and when it is not
  • Translate business objectives into clear technical specifications
  • Execute daily work in an iterative, agile pattern
  • Champion new ideas and take calculated risks
Requirements
  • Proven track record with 5+ years of data engineering experience using Python
  • Hands-on experience with 2+ years of database work across SQL and NoSQL
  • Deep understanding of AWS
  • Working knowledge of Git for version control
  • Proficiency with TDD development methodologies
  • Practical skills with Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid background working in Agile teams – Scrum or Kanban
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for diagnosing complex issues
  • Strong communication skills for aligning technical and business needs
  • English proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Health care information Interoperability domains
