Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems and services
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Lead code reviews and mentor engineers to maintain coding standards
- Optimize performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they occur
- Oversee integration of third-party APIs and external services
- Create and update technical documentation for new and existing functionality
- Champion best practices across the full software development lifecycle
- Guide continuous improvement of team processes and technical capabilities
Requirements
- Proven record of 5 years of relevant software development experience
- Demonstrated experience of 1 year leading and managing development teams
- Advanced Python expertise for building, evolving, and supporting applications
- Hands-on experience with ReactJS to deliver user interfaces and connect to backend systems
- Practical knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) for deploying and operating cloud-based applications
- Solid background in database design, administration, and performance tuning
- Proficiency with Git for version control and team-based workflows
- Experience using Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask
- Working knowledge of Python web server setup, configuration, and deployment
- Strong understanding of security best practices in software engineering
- Experience delivering user authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
- Excellent English communication skills (B2+ Upper-Intermediate or higher), written and spoken

- Background in AI development or architecture, including machine learning models, AI feature integration, or scalable AI infrastructure
