Lead Python Developer

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Lead Python Developer to spearhead our development team and work closely with a prominent European bank. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative software solutions that meet our client's strategic needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of technical expertise and an ability to lead a team through complex software development cycles, ensuring the delivery of high-quality banking applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of complex Python-based systems
  • Guide and mentor a team of Python developers in various projects
  • Oversee the architectural design of new software solutions
  • Drive the integration of front-end and back-end systems
  • Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols
  • Optimize system performance to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Python Developer
  • At least one year of experience in a leadership or team management role
  • Proven track record of participating in full cycle project development or managing multiple project phases
  • Strong expertise in architecture design
  • Proficient in developing general AI solutions
  • Knowledgeable in web UI test automation tools for Python
  • Experienced in implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in integrating and fine-tuning AI/ML models
  • Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes environments
  • Familiarity with large language model technologies
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL
