e are seeking a Senior Python Developer to become part of our remote team. This role requires a deep understanding of Python and Amazon Web Services (AWS), which will be instrumental in our migration from a legacy concordance infrastructure to the contemporary Entity Domain Definition.
Your expertise will boost our mapping rate and allow us to incorporate more intricate logic. You will be tasked with designing, developing, testing, and launching efficient data pipelines and ETL processes. Your proficiency with AWS Lambda, Python, and SQL will be vital to this role.
Responsibilities
- Efficient and scalable data pipelines and ETL processes need to be designed, developed, tested, and deployed
- Cooperation with cross-functional teams to craft solutions that meet business objectives is necessary
- Involvement in code reviews to maintain code quality and uphold best practices is essential
- Issues and incidents related to data must be troubleshooted and resolved
- Documentation of the data pipelines and ETL processes must be developed and kept updated
- Junior developers should be mentored to enhance their skills
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Python Developer is required
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Mastery of AWS Lambda and SQL is necessary
- Skill in developing data pipelines and ETL processes is needed
- Familiarity with AWS services is crucial
- Knowledge about agile software development methodologies is important
- Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git is required
- Excellent communication skills and experience in working with cross-functional teams is mandatory
- English fluency, with at least an upper-intermediate level of proficiency, is essential
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS Simple Queue Service, Amazon Elastic Container Service, and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service is beneficial
- Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage
