We are building a secure enterprise HashiCorp Boundary platform and need a Lead Platform/Infrastructure Engineer to drive delivery and cloud connectivity across AWS and Azure. You will set reusable platform standards, partner with two Senior Developers on architecture decisions, and strengthen DevSecOps practices while working remotely with overlap during US business hours. Responsibilities
- Oversee technical delivery of the HashiCorp Boundary platform and its roadmap
- Design and implement HashiCorp Boundary across the enterprise environment
- Establish secure network connectivity between AWS and Azure
- Configure integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory
- Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Terragrunt
- Set up the Boundary access framework, including Scopes, Roles, and Grants
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation workflows, and operational processes
- Lead security, compliance, and DevSecOps initiatives
- Produce technical documentation and operational runbooks
- Champion AI-assisted engineering practices within the team
- Mentor two Senior Developers and steer platform architecture decisions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in platform or infrastructure engineering with demonstrated leadership ability
- Deep knowledge of implementing and managing HashiCorp Boundary
- Understanding of AWS networking components such as Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, and Network Firewall
- Working knowledge of Azure networking, Microsoft Entra ID, and Active Directory
- Strong skills in Terraform, Terragrunt, and Python
- Competency in Linux and Docker environments
- Experience with DevSecOps methodologies, including SAST, SCA, and Secrets Management
- Solid grasp of CI/CD automation concepts
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and accountability
- Regular use of Claude Code and/or GitHub Copilot, with a track record of implementing AI-assisted development
- Familiarity with prompt engineering, LLM basics, and AI-driven developer workflows
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with GitHub Actions
- Understanding of RDP session recording tools
- Ability to troubleshoot Azure domain join and DNS issues
- Exposure to MCP servers or AI automation tools
