We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to design and operate the Builder's entry point / Internal Developer Portal (IDP), driving technical direction and best practices across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, build, and maintenance of the Internal Developer Portal using Port.io
- Develop backend automation and integrations using Python and Terraform
- Design and manage GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate developer tools (SCM, CI, security, artifact management) into platform workflows
- Implement API-driven onboarding and orchestration of external agent capabilities
- Manage AWS infrastructure, IAM policies, and platform security
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams on platform standards and adoption
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Hands-on proficiency in Python and Terraform in production environments
- Expertise in AWS infrastructure design, IAM policy management, and AWS Networking and Content Delivery
- Skills in GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
- Capability to integrate developer tools into platform workflows
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Port.io or Internal Developer Portal experience
- Knowledge of software cataloging
- Understanding of golden paths
- Background in developer self-service patterns
