With a focus on scalable architecture and best coding practices, the ideal candidate will blend technical expertise in PHP, MongoDB, and Python/AWS with leadership capabilities to guide and mentor an agile team.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable web applications using PHP and MongoDB
- Develop and implement critical modules and oversee code reviews from middle-level developers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML solutions into applications
- Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure technical excellence and maintain coding standards
- Mentor and guide developers while fostering a team culture of innovation and continuous learning
- Oversee the deployment process and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Coordinate with product owners and stakeholders to align software solutions with business goals
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the platform
- Implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with front-end applications
- Utilize Python and AWS for secondary or supplementary tasks when necessary
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PHP
- At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
- Extensive experience with MongoDB
- Proficiency in React, with an understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end integration
- Background in AI/ML integration, demonstrating innovative solutions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in code reviews
- Showcase of leadership abilities within agile teams and mentoring developers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
- Working Time: Start time is between 7-8 AM local time
Nice to have
- Expertise in Python for secondary development tasks
- Knowledge of serverless architecture and microservices
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes for containerization solutions
- Experience leveraging AWS tools such as Lambda and DynamoDB
