We are looking for a remote Lead PHP Developer to join our team.
You will be responsible for improving and refactoring the product and new feature development, as well as assisting with a migration to the new, modern solution written in .NET
Responsibilities
- Read, analyze and provide enchantments to the client's legacy product written mainly in PHP (Sugar/Suite CRM), and the backed written in Java
- Solve bottlenecks, address performance and stability issues, actively propose and implement architecture improvements
- Support new product features development, communicate with Solution Architects, Product Owners and other teams, advocate solid and straightforward solutions
- Support new clients onboarding and design customizations as per the clients' requests
- Support another EPAM team that will develop new product in .NET, review and contribute to the roadmap
- Support future migration from AWS to Azure
- Be able to review current architectural solutions, advise best practices
- Lead the team of engineers
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with PHP
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Experience with OPCACHE/APC, PHP linters
- MySQL (transactions, ACID, slow logs) knowledge
- CodeReview; CI/CD; Docker (intermediate) skills
- Knowledge of Redis/Memcache
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Knowledge of .NET, Microsoft Azure, Profiling, xDebug
