Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Performance Tester to join our team.
The customer is a financial services group that provides a comprehensive range of services to personal, business, and corporate customers and has leading market shares in banking products in the Republic of Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver the Non-functional test approach for the programme
- Single point of contact for leading and reporting NFT status of the programme with support from the Programme QAM
- Plan and coordinate OAT & Performance testing and Security/any other non-functional tests as appropriate for the Programme
- Plan, prepare and co-ordinate OAT and Performance testing
- Review of High level and detailed architecture to identify system failover/ recovery scenarios and arrange a review with solution architects and environment leads
- Create and execute failover scenarios at both component and end to end levels, including integration with microservices
- Coordinate with environment and application owners to run OAT tests and share results, arrange triage calls and track issues to closure
- Able to use REST API to validate its performance
- Devise and execute performance tests using the Front End Layer
- Document and execute a high-quality performance test plan
- Generate/obtain test data
- Monitor environment under test
- Support in devising performance test approach as part of the Quality Assurance Strategy Document
- Participate in defect triage discussions and challenge development perception of priority
- Work as part of a team
Requirements
- 5+ years of Performance Testing experience
- Experience in designing, developing, and executing performance tests
- A Computer Science/I.T. related Degree / Diploma
Nice to have
- ISTQB certification in Software Testing is Advantage
