Lead Performance Tester

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Performance Tester to join our team.

In this role, you will focus on analyzing and enhancing the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will collaborate with diverse teams to uncover and resolve performance challenges, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, optimized software solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans to evaluate system performance and scalability
  • Create and maintain frameworks and scripts for performance testing purposes
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement
  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to optimize system functionality and resolve issues
  • Simulate various user load scenarios to validate system performance under different conditions
  • Provide detailed performance evaluations and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Define performance benchmarks and standards to drive system improvements
  • Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and trends in performance testing
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in scalability and performance testing
  • At least one year of experience in leading and managing performance testing teams
  • Strong expertise in load generation and analysis using tools such as Artillery
  • Practical experience with performance testing in cloud-based microservice environments
  • Advanced knowledge of monitoring and observability tools like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with performance testing processes
  • Proficiency in automating testing, data collection, and reporting workflows
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Go, Scala, or TypeScript
  • Experience in the eCommerce domain, including system workflows and challenges
  • Knowledge of other performance testing tools like JMeter or Blazemeter
  • Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture models
