We are looking for an experienced Lead Performance Tester to join our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for assessing and improving the performance, scalability, and dependability of our systems. You will collaborate with multiple teams to identify and address performance issues, ensuring the delivery of robust and efficient software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement strategies to assess system scalability and performance
- Build and maintain testing frameworks and scripts to support performance evaluation
- Examine performance metrics to pinpoint areas requiring improvement
- Partner with development and DevOps teams to enhance system efficiency and resolve bottlenecks
- Simulate user load scenarios to validate system behavior under varying conditions
- Deliver comprehensive performance analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders
- Establish benchmarks and standards to guide system performance optimization
- Keep informed about advancements and methodologies in performance testing
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in performance and scalability testing
- Minimum of one year of experience leading and managing testing teams
- Advanced skills in load generation and analysis using tools like Artillery
- Hands-on experience with performance testing for microservices in cloud environments
- Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
- Familiarity with integrating performance testing into CI/CD workflows
- Proficient in automating testing processes, data collection, and reporting
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of programming languages including Go, Scala, or TypeScript
- Background in eCommerce systems and workflows
- Familiarity with additional performance testing tools like JMeter or Blazemeter
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture principles
