We are seeking a seasoned Lead Performance Tester to join our team.

In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose performance bottlenecks and ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to assess and improve system scalability and performance
Create and manage testing frameworks and scripts to support performance evaluation
Analyze system metrics to identify inefficiencies and areas for enhancement
Partner with development and DevOps teams to optimize system reliability and functionality
Conduct user load simulations to verify system behavior under various conditions
Deliver detailed findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders
Set benchmarks and standards to ensure consistent system performance improvements
Stay informed about emerging tools and techniques in performance testing

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in scalability and performance testing
At least one year of experience leading and managing testing teams
Expertise in load generation and analysis tools like Artillery
Experience with performance testing for microservices in cloud-based environments
Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and ELK
Familiarity with integrating performance testing processes into CI/CD pipelines
Advanced proficiency in automating testing workflows, data collection, and reporting
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with programming languages including Go, Scala, or TypeScript
Previous experience in the eCommerce domain and its workflows
Knowledge of additional performance testing tools like JMeter or Blazemeter
Understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architecture models
