We are looking for a Lead Performance/Load Tester to join our remote team.
In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, the development team, and the technical team to align on the performance of NFRs and measure performance using Datadog. You will work collaboratively with the development team to explain performance issues and improve performance in functional parts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to showcase their performance testing expertise and drive performance testing in a dynamic and highly challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement performance testing strategies, plans, and scripts for various systems and applications
- Build and maintain reactive and proactive performance measuring dashboards in Datadog
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to align on performance non-functional requirements and deliver performance benchmarks, load testing, and performance analysis
- Drive the performance testing process on the project, ensuring that performance testing is carried out accurately and efficiently
- Explain performance issues to the development team to aid in their investigations and improve performance in functional parts
- Coach and mentor junior team members to improve performance testing skills and impart performance testing best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in performance testing and analysis with at least 2 years as a lead
- Strong knowledge of Apache JMeter and performance testing tools
- Expertise in performance analysis, optimization, and benchmarking
- Experience with Datadog
- Solid understanding of SQL and database technologies
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders to align on performance non-functional requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English with at least an Upper-Intermediate level of competency

- Experience with cloud platforms
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or Ruby
