Lead OpenText ECM Developer (xECM)

Our team is looking to enlist a skilled Lead OpenText ECM Developer (xECM) to pioneer the development and enhancement of the OpenText Content Server Platform.

In this role, the successful candidate will focus on elevating user experience through innovative UI design and enhanced interactivity by leveraging advanced technologies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our implementations align with both business objectives and industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Customize the UI on the OpenText Content Server platform
  • Create responsive widgets, layouts, and design elements that boost user-friendliness
  • Program interactions and logic among UI components that cater to user demands
  • Ensure development consistency with reference designs and brand guidelines
  • Work collaboratively in team environments to achieve complete solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of OpenText ECM (xECM) development experience
  • At least 1 year in a relevant leadership role
  • Proficiency in using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Angular
  • Expertise in the development and customization of OpenText Smart View, WebReports, and OScript
  • Background in interfacing with the OpenText Content Server
  • Capability to utilize RestAPI and WebService
  • Understanding of how to integrate OpenText with third-party applications
  • Exceptional skills in problem-solving, team collaboration, and communication
  • Ability to design and deliver tailored solutions that respond to client needs
  • Qualifications in implementing both front-end and backend technologies preferred

  • Exposure to improvements in workflow within the OpenText ecosystem
  • Qualifications in records management
  • Understanding related to security clearance provisions
