Lead .NET Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead .NET Developer to join our remote team and oversee the development of our software solutions. As a Lead .NET Developer, you will work on back-end development with .NET Core and Microsoft SQL Server, creating and implementing technical software development strategies that align with business growth goals. You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate software engineering standards, practices, and controls are applied and manage the design and administration of software engineering projects. Your great communication and collaboration skills will enable you to influence key stakeholders on architectural and technical decisions, while your positive personality and go-getter attitude will help you lead and motivate the development team to achieve high standards of work, quality, and productivity

Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee the development team in achieving high standards of work, quality, and productivity
  • Work on back-end development with .NET Core and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring that software solutions meet high standards of functionality and usability
  • Create and implement technical software development strategies that align with business growth goals
  • Ensure that appropriate software engineering standards, practices, and controls are applied, and manage the design and administration of software engineering projects
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to determine project objectives, milestones, and deliverables
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development, with a primary focus on .NET Core for back-end development
  • 1+ year of experience on a Team Lead position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft SQL Server, with hands-on implementation and code review skills on .NET framework
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering best practices, ensuring that appropriate software engineering standards, practices, and controls are applied
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization, ensuring that software solutions meet high standards of functionality and usability
  • Ability to lead and oversee the development team, ensuring that high standards of work, quality, and productivity are achieved
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to influence key stakeholders on architectural and technical decisions
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Working experience with Agile
  • Familiarity with Visual Basic .NET
