We are seeking an experienced Lead .NET Developer to join our remote team, working on a project that will provide you with the opportunity to level up your problem-solving and communication expertise, being a part of a great team. As a Lead .NET Developer, you will lead a team of developers, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to the enhancement of our software solutions. You will be responsible for tracking dev metrics, reporting progress, and ensuring that the team follows established processes. Additionally, you will be expected to perform 50% of development work and provide support for existing modules, as well as create small enhancements. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of developers, distribute tasks, and ensure that the team follows established processes
  • Track dev metrics and report progress to stakeholders, providing valuable insights and recommendations
  • Perform 50% of development work, creating small enhancements and providing support for existing modules
  • Interact and communicate with customers and stakeholders, ensuring that their requirements are met
  • Analyze requirements and provide accurate estimates, contributing to the development of high-quality software solutions
  • Contribute to the development of software solutions using .NET technologies, including Visual Basic .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API, SOAP, and WCF
  • Ensure that support releases are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development, demonstrating your expertise in Visual Basic .NET, C#, ASP.NET Web API, SOAP, and WCF
  • Proven leadership experience of 1+ year, showcasing your ability to lead a team of developers and distribute tasks effectively
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to analyze requirements and provide accurate estimates
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers and stakeholders effectively
  • Proficiency in following established processes and ensuring that the team adheres to them
  • Experience in tracking dev metrics and reporting progress, providing valuable insights to stakeholders
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
Nice to have
  • Background in .NET Framework 2.0-4.0
  • Knowledge of MS SQL & ASP pages, XSLX
  • Experience in Insurance domain
