Lead .NET Developer

We are looking for a Lead .NET Developer to improve UI functionality and backend implementations within a collaborative, agile team environment.

This role involves close collaboration with traders, quants, and global development teams to promote agile best practices and integrate automated testing. Please note that this position requires working from the customer's office in Lisbon 2 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Implement features and resolve defects with a priority on high-quality code
  • Coordinate with business analysts, test teams, and production support to ensure seamless delivery
  • Take part in sprint planning and other agile ceremonies
  • Communicate progress clearly and escalate risks when necessary
  • Work alongside onshore and offshore teams to complete development tasks
  • Address L3 production issues and manage non-production environments
  • Offer on-call support during weekday evenings and release weekends
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in .NET and C# development
  • Expertise in Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Skills in UI optimization and building UI unit test automation
  • Proficiency in using profiling tools to enhance memory and CPU performance
  • Strong teamwork and adaptability across regions and expertise levels
  • High degree of independence when needed
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in requirements analysis
  • Dedication to automation, continuous improvement, and simplicity
  • Motivation to deliver high-quality work you can take pride in
  • Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (both writing and speaking)
Nice to have
  • Background in collaborating with traders and quantitative analysts
  • Understanding of agile software development processes
  • Familiarity with maintaining production environments and handling on-call responsibilities
