Lead .NET Developer

We are on the lookout for a Lead .NET Developer to join our team at a leading European bank. You will apply your expertise to shape architecture and technology choices while leading a skilled development team.

Please note that work from the customer office 2 days per week is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage software development life cycle processes and lead teams
  • Provide guidance on architecture, design, and technology direction
  • Implement test-driven development and continuous integration practices
  • Collaborate with business analysts, quality assurance, and product support teams
  • Drive technology selection based on industry best practices
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and standards
  • Analyze requirements and recommend effective solutions
  • Monitor project progress and adapt plans as necessary
  • Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback
  • Mentor junior developers while fostering a collaborative team environment
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development
  • 1+ years of leadership experience managing development teams
  • Expertise in C# programming language
  • Knowledge of FX
  • Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Knowledge of test-driven development principles and continuous integration practices
  • English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Background in investment banking projects
  • Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
