We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Knowledge Graph Engineer to design, build, and manage cutting-edge knowledge graph solutions, enabling better insights through semantic data engineering and advanced data manipulation techniques.
This role requires a forward-thinking individual passionate about leveraging graph-based technologies to address complex business problems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable knowledge graph architectures for data-centric applications
- Utilize semantic data engineering techniques to integrate, transform, and query large and complex datasets
- Design and implement data models using RDF, RML, and R2RML for improved data consistency and interoperability
- Collaborate with teams to deploy, manage, and optimize RDF triple store engines such as AnzoGraph and Amazon Neptune
- Ensure successful querying and manipulation of data through technologies like SPARQL, XML, and JSON
- Provide mentorship to team members to drive expertise in graph-based technologies and methodologies
- Analyze unstructured datasets and identify opportunities for data-driven insights and process improvements
- Support cloud-based initiatives with proven experience in AWS platform and cloud computing environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex data challenges in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Build and optimize data processes for transformation, metadata management, and workload handling
- Conduct root cause analysis on internal or external data to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Stay informed about emerging technologies in graph databases, data modeling, and semantic web
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in semantic data engineering, working with technologies like RDF, SPARQL, and XML
- Proven proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying, extraction, and transformation
- Experience working with graph query languages and engines, including Tinkerpop, Gremlin, or SPARQL
- Background in graph databases, preferably AnzoGraph and Amazon Neptune, with familiarity in other RDF triple store engines
- Knowledge of NLP engines or LPG-style knowledge graphs is beneficial but not mandatory
- Capability to work with AWS platforms, demonstrating expertise in cloud computing environments
- Strong analytic and technical problem-solving skills, including working with unstructured datasets
- Experience with Java programming language for data-centric applications is a plus
- Skills in modeling normalized data structures and operationalizing knowledge graphs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to engage with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
- Familiarity with technologies like Tinkerpop and Gremlin to enhance graph-based solutions
- Expertise in building LPG engines and leveraging them for advanced analytics
- Understanding of data architecture frameworks for integrating knowledge graphs on cloud platforms
- Exposure to advanced methodologies in data modeling and semantic enrichment
