We are seeking a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This team works at the intersection of systems and platforms that consume and contribute to data. As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions that handle and stream data seamlessly. You should have a strong understanding of JavaScript/Node.js, Azure Event Hubs, data handling, Docker, ETL/ELT solutions, and MongoDB. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and approaches.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop performant and scalable data streaming solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and practices
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in JavaScript/Node.js development
  • At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
  • Experience with Azure Event Hubs and data handling
  • Proficiency in Docker, ETL/ELT solutions, and MongoDB
  • Strong understanding of building performant and scalable data streaming solutions
  • Experience with Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Experience in leading development teams and working in an agile environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
