We are seeking a Lead JavaScript Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This team works at the intersection of systems and platforms that consume and contribute to data. As a Lead JavaScript Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing solutions that handle and stream data seamlessly. You should have a strong understanding of JavaScript/Node.js, Azure Event Hubs, data handling, Docker, ETL/ELT solutions, and MongoDB. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and have the freedom to experiment with new ideas and approaches.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop performant and scalable data streaming solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from design to deployment
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and practices
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business objectives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in JavaScript/Node.js development
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
- Experience with Azure Event Hubs and data handling
- Proficiency in Docker, ETL/ELT solutions, and MongoDB
- Strong understanding of building performant and scalable data streaming solutions
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, or Google Cloud Pub/Sub
- Experience in leading development teams and working in an agile environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency
