We are searching for an exceptional Lead JavaScript Full-Stack Developer with deep expertise and passion for engineering rich, responsive web and hybrid-mobile applications at scale. In this role, you'll leverage your mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js to define technical vision, lead engineering teams, and ship fast, SEO-friendly, and mobile-first user interfaces that set the standard across the entire organization.

You'll head the design of outstanding web experiences that look and feel like native mobile apps, owning performance optimization strategies for both desktop and mobile web view browsers (including iOS Safari). Partnering closely with backend engineering leads, UX designers, and product leadership, you'll translate complex interactive designs into elegant, modular, and reusable front-end architectures — while managing, mentoring, and growing a team of engineers and championing best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Define the technical vision and architecture for high-performance, scalable, and responsive web applications using React and Next.js (leveraging advanced features such as SSR, SSG, ISR, API routes, and Server Components)
  • Lead and oversee the implementation of pixel-perfect, mobile-first designs that adapt seamlessly across devices, with a specific focus on optimizing layouts, animations, and touch interactions for mobile viewports (including iOS/Android browsers)
  • Establish organization-wide strategies for managing complex client-side state (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API) and drive robust integrations with backend RESTful or GraphQL APIs
  • Own and direct performance engineering initiatives across the front-end platform — profiling and optimizing applications for maximum loading speed, Core Web Vitals, and smooth rendering on lower-powered mobile devices
  • Set the bar for engineering quality: define coding standards, drive code review culture, and lead the evolution and governance of our shared UI component library and design system
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of senior, mid-level, and junior developers, conducting performance reviews, fostering career development, and cultivating a culture of technical excellence
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape the long-term technical roadmap, drive architectural decisions, and align front-end strategy with business objectives
  • Represent the front-end engineering team in cross-functional forums and act as a key stakeholder in hiring and team-building initiatives
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven background in modern web development with a strong track record of delivering and owning complex, user-facing products in production, including experience leading engineering teams or technical initiatives
  • Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React, including advanced patterns, performance tuning, and architectural best practices at scale
  • Deep, production-grade expertise in the Next.js framework (App Router and Pages Router, Server Components, advanced rendering strategies), with experience defining framework-level standards across multiple teams or projects
  • Strong command of modern CSS frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Tailwind CSS, styled-components, CSS Modules), with proven ability to define and govern styling architecture for large-scale, multi-team projects
  • Extensive expertise in optimizing web apps for mobile browsers, building PWAs (Progressive Web Apps), and integrating web views within hybrid mobile containers
  • Demonstrated experience architecting, launching, and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems adopted across multiple products or teams
  • Solid command of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and working in an Agile/Scrum development cycle, with experience shaping engineering processes and workflows
  • Proven track record of leading, mentoring, and growing engineering teams, and driving technical initiatives across cross-functional organizations
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences at all levels
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
