We are seeking a talented Lead JavaScript Developer to join our remote team.
You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based applications, utilizing your expertise in JavaScript, React.js, and Amazon Web Services. With a focus on innovation and a commitment to quality, our team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that exceed our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications using Node.js, React.js, and other relevant technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and implement complex database architectures using PostgreSQL and other SQL databases
- Ensure the scalability and reliability of applications by implementing best practices and utilizing Amazon Web Services
- Lead and mentor junior developers, contributing to their professional growth and development
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to design and implement continuous integration and deployment processes
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript development, showcasing your proficiency in building scalable and reliable applications
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in React.js and Node.js
- Experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service, AWS IAM, and other AWS services, demonstrating your ability to design and implement cloud-based solutions
- Strong expertise in SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, enabling you to design and maintain complex database architectures
- Knowledge of Jenkins
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and guide junior developers, contributing to their professional growth
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
