Lead JavaScript Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled remote Lead JavaScript Full Stack Developer to join our remote team. You will coordinate development teams to identify technical risks, address implementation gaps, ensure timely delivery, and optimize performance, while regularly communicating with project management and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Lead the overall system design and technology strategy for the project
- Evaluate system architecture options and design a framework for defining various performance metrics and measuring that performance on embedded hardware
- Coordinate across development teams to identify technical risks, address implementation gaps, ensure timely delivery, and optimize performance
- Regularly communicate with project management and engineering teams
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development, and share knowledge with the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user needs, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with WebRTC, PWA, and other relevant technologies
- Experience with real-time communications test and monitoring procedures
- Excellent technical communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with DevOps best practices for RTC deployment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other relevant technologies beyond the required skills, such as GraphQL or TypeScript
- Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies
