Lead JavaScript Engineer (Node.JS + GoLang) for Oil Company

Currently we are looking for a remote LeadJavaScript Engineer (Node.JS).

Customer is one of the world's largest oil companies, it ranked nineteenth in the Fortune 500 list of the top US closely held and public corporations and sixteenth on the Fortune Global 500 list of the top 500 corporations worldwide. It was also one of the Seven Sisters that dominated the global petroleum industry from the mid-1940s to the 1970s. Currently, we are looking to form a strong team to lead the migration of over 4000 Customers' applications to Microsoft Azure. The team will be responsible for developing and deploying new tools and applications which will support the modernizing process, including web jobs, serverless APIs, authentication and authorization, etc.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teammates to define, design, and shape new features
  • Design and develop backend API microservice using Node JS
  • Design and develop application in secured AWS environment
  • Research and suggest new products, applications and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
Requirements
  • 5+ years Node.JS + express or GoLang professional development experience
  • Experience in designing and developing microservice
  • Experience in designing and developing using different cache technologies, i.e. CDN, Redis, Memcached
  • Experience in designing and developing high throughput, large scale Web applications
  • Experience in the development using cloud environment, experience of using AWS, Kubernetes is a plus
  • Experience in developing news, content, mobile applications is a plus
  • Good spoken and written English level
