Lead JavaScript Developer for a Fintech Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead JavaScript Developer to join our team.
The customer is a world-leading global provider of market intelligence, deal execution platforms, and investor communication tools to investment banks and corporations worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Developing reusable, responsive, accessible components using Angular components and scalable, semantic HTML
- Helping lead decisions to support the immediate and future technical direction of our design system, and its impact on the experience and visual design of our products
- Collaborating with product owners, designers, and other engineers to improve the core user experience through the design system
- Bringing your experience to help improving the processes and patterns of the team
- Contributing to clear and lean component documentation for other developers to consume and help build and manage the design system
- Working closely with the design team to ensure user needs are balanced with technical requirements
- Collaborating with designers and developers to elevate and iterate on our current components and patterns
- Working in a cross-functional team to continuously strengthen collaboration, increase operational efficiencies, and communicate your decision-making rationale to the team and stakeholders
- Educating and advocate for systems-based design/engineering
- Staying up to date on the latest Front-End best practices, patterns, and technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of agile software development experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- 3+ years of experience with modern web application technologies (TypeScript, ES6, ReactJS ,Angular, VueJS)
- Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and understanding of its intricacies across different browsers and devices
- Experience in TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, and experience writing modern JavaScript (i.e. ES6+)
- Experience in building highly interactive user interfaces for high volume web applications
- Experience in JavaScript fundamentals and experience creating scalable, performant components using JS
- Experience in SCSS/CSS
- Understanding of UI design
- Willingness to learn and adapt accessibility best practices
- Ability to work across various teams with varying disciplines and skillsets
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- English level B2+
Nice to have
- Experience or love of contributing to design systems or UI libraries, from building adoption to guiding contribution and maintaining components.
- Experience with building/maintaining Front End specific devops chains
- Eagerness to rapidly learn new skills, technologies, and concepts, while taking personal initiative to execute on projects
