We are looking for a Lead JavaScript Developer to join our remote team, focusing on our Market Depth Visualization Tools.

The role primarily requires delivery of high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, drawing on expertise in JavaScript and REST API. Collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders is crucial, in order to deliver a web tool incorporating man pages and run-books, based on the factset.io stack.

Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Development of complex web applications using the factset.io stack and VueJS
  • Creation of REST APIs to integrate with the back-end system and conduct data analysis
  • Maintenance of code quality and maintainability via code reviews, testing, and debugging
  • Participation in Agile software development methodologies, including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of the development process
  • Mentoring of junior team members and support in their technical development and growth
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of JavaScript development experience, including VueJS
  • A proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers
  • Strong experience with REST API and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on detail
  • Proficiency in using Git or other version control systems for collaborative software development
  • Expertise in developing efficient and maintainable code, prioritizing performance and scalability
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Fluency in English, facilitating effective communication with team members and stakeholders
