Lead Java Fullstack Developer

We are seeking a highly experienced remote Lead Java Full Stack Developer to join our team.

As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering enterprise-class applications using AWS, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular.

In this position, they will be comfortable working on all aspects of application development, including user interface, API, backend logic, data storage, and infrastructure. They will also be responsible for mentoring junior developers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the quality and scalability of the codebase.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver enterprise-class applications using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and Angular 7
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance
  • Ensure quality and scalability of the codebase
  • Participate in daily agile patterns and negotiate while ensuring positive relationships with the client
  • Drive the mentality of quality being owned by the entire team and have a passion for continuing education and improving code quality
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience in Full Stack Java development and Angular
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Hands-on experience in AWS
  • Understanding of Microservices
  • Deep understanding of schema design, optimization, scalability, and complex SQL queries
  • Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Hibernate
  • Familiarity with Apache Kafka, JUnit
  • Experience with Spring Boot and ReactJS
