We are seeking a remote Lead Java Full Stack Developer with Angular expertise to join our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for producing well-designed and testable code using industry best practices, leading planning, forecasting, and execution efforts for new project deliverables.
Additionally, you will be mentoring and supporting junior engineers on their journey to level up, cross-collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings.
Responsibilities
- Produce well-designed, testable code using industry best practices
- Lead planning, forecasting, and execution efforts for project deliverables
- Ensure quality and availability of software systems by following monitoring and alerting best practices
- Mentor and support junior engineers
- Cross-collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development using Java
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Angular, AWS, TypeScript, and React
- Proficiency with front-end coding technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
- Experience in designing and building APIs and building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies
- Demonstrable experience owning and operating business-critical systems servicing internal and external customers
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience in Gitlab, Node.js, React Native, Cypress, Inversify, and New Relic
- Background in Amazon Web Services
