We are currently looking for a highly skilled Java Developer Lead to join our remote team in developing innovative solutions for our clients. As a lead developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions. Our client is a leading provider of innovative cloud-based solutions for the healthcare industry, and you will play a key role in shaping the future of their platform.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of developers in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to define and refine requirements
  • Design and implement software solutions using Java, Angular, and other relevant technologies
  • Ensure the use of best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • Establish and maintain development standards and processes
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
  • Mentor and coach junior developers
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Java 8 and Spring Boot
  • Experience in developing Angular-based web applications
  • Experience in implementing microservice architecture patterns
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, and RDS
  • Experience in implementing Apache Kafka-based solutions for data streaming and processing
  • Experience in SQL and database design
  • Experience in unit testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • 1 year of experience in leading a team of developers, including mentoring and coaching
  • Excellent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in developing mobile applications using native or cross-platform technologies
  • Experience in developing solutions for healthcare or life sciences industries
  • Experience in developing solutions using NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
