Lead Java Developer with Spring

We are looking for an experienced remote Lead Java Developer with Spring to join our team.

In this position, you will work closely with senior members of the application team to design, implement, and deliver new features. You will be responsible for developing prototypes, high-level and detailed designs, Java implementation, automated tests, and performance and resilience tests. You will deliver a complete, enterprise-class solution, debug and fix customer issues, and foster an environment of open communication, creative thinking, problem-solving, and cohesive team effort.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with senior members of the application team to design, implement, and deliver new features
  • Develop prototypes, high-level and detailed designs, Java implementation, automated tests, and performance and resilience tests
  • Deliver a complete, enterprise-class solution that meets business requirements
  • Assist with debugging and fixing customer issues
  • Foster an environment of open communication, creative thinking, problem-solving, and cohesive team effort
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Java development with extensive experience in Spring Stack
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of multithreading, Spring Framework, RESTful interfaces, and asynchronous messaging
  • Expertise in functional programming with Vavr.io library, Spring Security, Spring Boot 2.5+, Spring Cloud Contracts, and Liquibase for Hexagonal architecture (port and adapter) with CQRS pattern
  • Strong understanding of Keycloak (OAuth2, JWT), RabbitMQ, Gradle, Microservices, and PostgreSQL
  • Intermediate understanding and experience in Git and GitHub, and Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience working on E-KYC, Transactions, and Cards, or anything that is more or less related to those
  • Good understanding of Message Brokers (MQ), Microservice Architecture Pattern, and REST API
