Lead Java Developer with React and AWS

We are looking for a remote Lead Java Developer with React and AWS to join our team. As the lead developer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers. Your expertise in Java, JavaScript, and ReactJS, combined with practical exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS), will be essential in the development of efficient and scalable solutions for the project. The ideal candidate should have experience in algorithms and data structures, as well as proven leadership abilities in a technical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex software applications using JavaScript, ReactJS, and Java technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain software applications that meet business requirements
  • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability of software applications
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to other team members
  • Research and apply emerging technologies and best practices to enhance software development processes and methodologies
  • Lead the team of experienced developers
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their career development
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java development stacks
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Knowledge of JavaScript
  • Proficiency in ReactJS
  • Expertise in Algorithms & Data structures, and their application to software development
  • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda, among others
  • Proficiency with Docker
  • Knowledge of software development best practices such as Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration/Deployment, and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English with Advanced level (C1)
