We are looking for a Lead Java Developer with Algorithms and Data Structures and with practical AWS Cloud exposure to join our remote team. As a lead developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, using your skills in Algorithms & Data structures, and Java programming.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java applications, adhering to best practices and industry standards
- Create robust, scalable, and fault-tolerant microservices architecture, leveraging AWS cloud services
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, providing guidance and support
- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of the software systems
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring high code quality standards
- Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Java, AWS cloud services, and microservices architecture, and share your knowledge with the team
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- Proven experience in leading software development teams (1+ year experience)
- Expertise in Java
- Excellent knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation
- Experience in Spring Framework
- Expertise in AWS cloud services like Web Services, EC2, and Docker
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in English, with an C1 level of competency for seamless communication with the team and stakeholders
