We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team and drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions while mentoring team members and championing engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable Java-based applications
- Drive the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency and code quality
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
- Guide the team through architectural decisions and technical strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers to foster their technical growth
- Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Java development
- Experience leading development teams and mentoring engineers
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical issues
- Background in FinTech
- Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services, C++, and Python
- Background in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Familiarity with UNIX shell scripting
