We are seeking a dedicated Lead Java Developer to join our cross-functional Scrum team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software solutions within a designated business capability POD.
The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and related technologies to build and maintain backend systems that drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, improve, and support the Java codebase
- Build back-end microservices and develop REST APIs
- Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing for software reliability
- Sustain high-quality code through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices
- Promote coding standards such as unit testing and continuous integration across the team
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to align with team objectives
- Engage in project estimation and planning activities
- Mentor and guide team members to foster technical growth and problem-solving skills
- Contribute actively to resolving complex technical challenges while maintaining timelines
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, including over 1 year in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
- Skills in building APIs and working with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Spring Boot, and ReactJS
- Expertise in Java Messaging and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure
- Advanced proficiency in English (C1)
Nice to have
- Background in financial services, particularly in wealth management
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure and its ecosystem
