Lead Java Developer

We are thrilled to invite a Lead Java Developer to collaborate with our cross-functional scrum team in a designated business capability POD.

The selected individual will utilize proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, contributing significantly to developing backend solutions that optimize our business processes.

Responsibilities

Design and enhance the Java codebase
Build microservices and REST APIs for backend systems
Conduct unit testing to ensure software reliability
Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews
Promote best practices like code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies to strengthen team dynamics
Contribute to estimation and planning sessions to align with project objectives
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members

Requirements

A degree in Computer Science or a related field; preference for a Master’s degree
At least 5 years of experience in software development
Over 1 year of relevant leadership experience
Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
Capability to design APIs and familiarity with microservices architecture
Background in financial services, ideally in wealth management
Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken at C1 level)
