We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project in the Business Information & Media industry. As a Lead Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software solutions, utilizing your expertise in Java 8, Spring Boot, REST API, Microservice Architecture Pattern, Oracle RDBMS, and Hibernate. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet the project's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex software solutions using Java 8 and related Java frameworks
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of software products that meet project goals and objectives
  • Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
  • Contribute to the development of software documentation, including technical specifications and user manuals
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, demonstrating your proficiency in Java 8 and related Java frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST API, Microservice Architecture Pattern, Oracle RDBMS, and Hibernate
  • Experience in designing and developing software solutions using Agile methodologies
  • At least 1 year of experience in leading and mentoring junior developers, showcasing your ability to manage and lead teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience in developing and deploying software solutions in cloud environments
  • Experience in DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience in working with NoSQL databases and related technologies, such as MongoDB and Cassandra
