We're in growth mode and aiming to welcome a Lead Java Developer into our organization. This role suits an experienced engineer prepared to assume full accountability for challenging projects, carrying them from the conceptual stage through to complete production release. You'll play a key part in designing and improving services that manage sophisticated investment data together with distributed systems, where correctness, reliability, and the capacity to scale are essential. This role follows a hybrid setup, calling for four days of in-office work each week

Responsibilities
  • Develop, launch, and maintain software built upon Java and Spring Boot technology
  • Fashion durable, scalable APIs, microservices, and distributed architecture components
  • Lead projects across the complete engineering timeline, from early planning and building through go-live and sustained production maintenance
  • Resolve complicated application and data issues by crafting solutions built to last
  • Play an active part in architecture design, setting technical direction, conducting code reviews, ensuring quality standards, and establishing CI/CD pipelines
  • Apply AWS and comparable cloud-native platforms to construct dependable, scalable systems
  • Work jointly with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver results-driven technical solutions
  • Convey knowledge and mentor other engineers to support the growth of their technical skills
Requirements
  • More than five years of practical, hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development
  • At least one year spent managing and leading development teams
  • Established background constructing APIs, microservices, and distributed system architectures
  • Broad understanding of software design principles, testing approaches, performance tuning, and production reliability
  • Considerable experience with SQL and relational database technologies
  • Applied experience working with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms
  • Understanding of event-driven architectural approaches and tools like Kafka
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative aptitude, together with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, enabling clear interpretation of business requirements and their translation into technical delivery
  • Demonstrated skill in independently leading technical work while retaining ownership from initial concept to final execution
Nice to have
  • Prior experience in financial services, investment management, or capital markets settings
  • Working knowledge of Corporate Actions and connected investment lifecycle activities
  • Hands-on familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar tools
  • Experience building or refreshing complex, large-scale systems
