Lead Java Developer

We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to join our team. As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of complex modules, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Architects, Designers, and Business Analysts, to architect new application modules, provide consulting services, and design and review automated tests.

Responsibilities
  • Architect new application modules, including the framework for HIS/DIRECT
  • Provide AngularJS/Java consulting services, including internal know-how development and assurance, as well as training
  • Ensure design assurance, including modular concept, code reviews, and performance optimization
  • Migrate and implement complex modules, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance
  • Design and review automated tests, including JUnit, integration tests, E2E tests, and system tests
  • Implement complex masks/functionality, including automated tests in HIS/DIRECT specific frameworks, according to specification
  • Create design patterns for high degrees of standardization and reuse
  • Develop basic implementations of main topics for further development based on them
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Java Development, demonstrating proficiency in Java 17 and PL/SQL
  • 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in Angular and AngularJS, showcasing your ability to create complex masks and functionality
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, integration tests, E2E tests, system tests, Cypress, Karma, and Protractor
  • Practical knowledge of Node.js and REST, enabling you to work on the development of HIS/DIRECT specific frameworks
  • Strong focus on design assurance, including modular concept, code reviews, and performance optimization
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with JQuery, JavaScript, JS/TypeScript, Gulp, PrimeFace, IntelliJ, TeamCity, and TomEE
  • Familiarity with additional testing techniques or practices beyond functional testing
  • Exposure to testing larger applications or complex software systems
  • Previous experience with other test case management or bug tracking tools
