We are seeking a Lead Developer with a primary skill set in Java for our Travel & Hospitality project. The ideal candidate should have experience in full stack development, cloud technologies, React, AWS, and Kafka. The candidate should possess knowledge in Java 8, Hibernate, REST, Spring Boot, Spring Core, Unit Testing, JBoss EAP, and Microservice Architecture Pattern. As a lead developer, you will work collaboratively with the Product Owner, Architect, and the team following the Agile SDLC process to deliver high-quality solutions in accordance with business requirements and engX principals.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Product Owner, Architect, and the Agile team to deliver high-quality solutions in accordance with business requirements and engX principals
- Drive features implementation in accordance with business functional and non-functional requirements and architecture guidelines
- Act as a reviewer and reviewee in the code review process
- Collaborate with Quality Engineer in testing implementation and re-work in case defects were found
- Identify risks and issues and report to your TL and share improvements that can be made in the tech design/code, team processes, or any aspect related to your teamwork and environment
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software development with expertise in Java
- Experience in developing full stack applications using cloud-based technologies, React, AWS, and Kafka
- Strong experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching development teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- English proficiency B2+
- 1+ years of leadership experience
Nice to have
- Knowledge in Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Instana, CloudWatch)
