Lead Java Developer

We are looking to hire a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our dedicated team.

The chosen candidate will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of laboratory information management systems and provide engineering support solutions. This role demands an extensive background in Java development and a strong track record in delivering high-quality software successfully.

Responsibilities
  • Design and build robust, scalable Java applications
  • Take charge of designing system architecture for laboratory information systems
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver customized solutions
  • Implement continuous integration and deployment strategies for effective software delivery
  • Guide junior developers on best practices and advanced Java concepts
  • Enhance system performance through code review and refactoring
  • Foster and uphold Agile practices within development teams
  • Develop solutions that integrate smoothly with Amazon Web Services, Gitlab, and PostgreSQL
  • Address and rectify complex software issues
  • Engage in the advancement of system functionalities with innovative thinking
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies
  • Background in Amazon Web Services
  • Skills in GitLab, PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with REST API and Spring Boot
  • B2+ level proficiency in the English language
  • Flexibility to work remotely
  • Capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Nice to have
  • Showcase of projects utilizing CSS
  • Knowledge of Microservice Architecture Pattern
  • Competency in building cross-platform applications
