We are currently looking for a skilled Lead Java Developer to join our remote team. As a Lead Java Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining high-quality applications using Java and related technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering efficient and reliable solutions. You will work closely with the development team to ensure the seamless integration of new functionalities and enhancements.
Oracle APEX (Oracle Application Express) is a strong must-have for this position.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality applications using Java and related technologies
- Collaborate closely with the development team to integrate new functionalities and enhancements
- Analyze and optimize application performance and code quality
- Lead and mentor development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure seamless integration of new functionalities and enhancements
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to address their requirements and provide valuable insights
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Java development
- 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Solid proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle PL/SQL
- Experience with JasperReports, JavaScript, Spring,
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX)
- Proficiency in integrating and maintaining complex systems and databases
- Ability to analyze and optimize application performance and code quality
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
