Lead iOS Swift Developer

We are looking for a skilled remote Lead iOS Swift Developer to join our team and help create world-class applications utilizing the latest technologies. As a Lead iOS Swift Developer, you will be responsible for owning the development and quality of features implemented on the iOS app. You will drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team. In addition, you will write automated unit, system, and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines and translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the team of developers
  • Utilize the latest technologies and develop ever-improving strategies to best deliver high-quality code
  • Provide and participate in code reviews to assess overall code quality and flexibility, and the application of good object-oriented programming techniques
  • Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team
  • Write automated unit, system, and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines
  • Translate functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs
  • Own the development and quality of features being implemented on the iOS app
Requirements
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of Swift experience (all new features developed using Swift)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing features in Java or Kotlin
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficient in API service connection paradigms
  • Understanding of client/server architectures
  • Proficient with mobile development best practices
  • Passion for the entire app development lifecycle
  • Skilled software engineer seeking diverse challenges
  • Upper-Intermediate English level proficiency

  • Proficient with new technologies like GraphQL
