Lead Go Developer

We are seeking a Lead Go Developer to join our remote team and work on a Kubernetes native technology project.
You will work directly with the Kubernetes team to improve the product by acting as both an open-source contributor and SRE. This is a client-facing engagement, and you will be required to understand and analyze client needs, design solutions, and articulate them professionally to the client.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Kubernetes native technology to run and manage batch workloads on Kubernetes clusters
- Collaborate with the Kubernetes team to improve the product by acting as both an open-source contributor and SRE
- Understand and analyze client needs, design solutions, and articulate them professionally to the client
- Ensure the product aligns with the needs of the target market and the business objectives of our customer
- Work collectively with cross-functional teams like Developers, Business Analysts, etc., for seamless project completion
- Engage with your mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software development experience with excellent Kubernetes knowledge
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
- Good Cloud and Container architecture knowledge, with proficiency in Systems engineering (Linux)
- Experience in batch scheduling technologies such as ray.io, spark (or similar) is an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills using official Kubernetes SIG channels and teams
- Proficient in English language with at least an upper-intermediate level of competency
